ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia volleyball team dropped a five-set decision to the Oklahoma Sooners on Friday at Stegeman Coliseum (25-19, 29-27, 17-25, 19-25, 11-15). Georgia held a 2-0 lead in the match, but Oklahoma stormed back to win the match in the first SEC meeting of the two teams.

- Bianna Muoneke (12 kills, 11 digs) and Erykah Lovett (15 kills, 12 digs) each recorded a double-double. It was the fifth double-double for each of them.
- Sophie Fischer also topped the double-digit kill mark with 11.
- Bailey Cox led the team with 15 digs while Fischer led with five blocks.
- Estelle Haugen tallied a season-best five service aces. Georgia had nine as a team.
- Freshman MK Patten had a season-best eight kills.Â
