Georgia Set to Host ITA Kickoff Weekend

ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 4-ranked Georgia women's tennis team is set to host two days of action at the ITA Kickoff Weekend on Jan. 26-27 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
Despite a season-opening loss to No. 1 North Carolina on Sunday, the Bulldogs will look to bounce back in their first home competition under first year head coach Drake Bernstein.
The weekend will see South Florida, South Carolina and Arizona join Georgia as all four teams will compete in a tournament-style bracket matches on Friday followed by a consolation match and a championship match on Saturday.
Friday's matches will begin with the Gamecocks facing off against the Wildcats at 11 a.m. followed by the Bulldogs taking on the Bulls at 2:30 p.m. Moving on to Saturday, the losing program from both of Friday's dual matches will compete in a consolation match at 11 a.m. while the winners will meet in the championship match at 2:30 p.m.
