GymDogs Earn WCGA Scholastic All-Academic Honors

ATHENS, Ga. --- Nine University of Georgia gymnasts earned Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association Scholastic All-America Honors for the 2022-23 school year, it was announced Thursday.
GymDogs earning recognition include Amanda Cashman (Entertainment & Media Studies; Belle Mead, N.J.), Haley de Jong (Consumer Economics; Vancouver, Canada), Vanessa Deniz (Communication Studies; Millstone Township, N.J.), Sandra Elsadek (Communication Studies; Venice, Fla.), Sidney Fitzgerald (Psychology; Evans, Ga.), Loulie Hattaway (Biological Sciences; Blakely, Ga.), Jacquie Moran (Interior Design; Santa Cruz, Calif.), Ariel Posen (Psychology; Manalapan, N.J.), and Eryn Williams (Business; Knoxville, Tenn.).
To earn WCGA Scholastic All-America honors, a gymnast must attain a cumulative or yearly grade point average of 3.5 or better.
