Georgia Equestrian Announces 2023-24 Schedule

ATHENS, Ga. ---Â The seven-time national champion Georgia equestrian team takes on another competitive schedule in 2023-24, head coach Meghan Boenig announced Wednesday.

Following the annual Red and Black Scrimmage on September 22, Georgia kicks off the regular season with a home meet against UT Martin on Saturday, September 30. Â
Â
The Bulldogs will then face three conference rivals. Georgia will first travel to face the Texas A&M Aggies on October 6 before returning home for a matchup against the South Carolina Gamecocks on October 13.  The Bulldogs will hit the road to Auburn to take on the Tigers on October 20.Â
Â
Georgia then heads to Martin, Tennessee for a neutral site meet against TCU on Friday, October 27 before facing UT Martin the following day.Â

The Bulldogs will close out the fall at the UGA Equestrian Complex against Oklahoma State on Saturday, November 18. Â
Â
The season resumes on January 26 with the Bulldogs making a trip to Baylor. Â
Â
Georgia is then back home for two SEC meets against the Auburn Tigers on February 10 and Texas A&M on February 17. Â
Â
The Bulldogs are on the road at South Carolina on February 24 before closing out the regular season at home with Senior Day celebrations taking place on Saturday, March 2 against South Dakota State.Â

The 2024 SEC Championship will be held March 29-30 in College Station, Texas and will be hosted by the Aggies. The 2024 NCEA National Championship will be held at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida, April 18-20. Â
