Bulldogs Travel to the Plains to Face Auburn

ATHENS, Ga. --- The No. 5 University of Georgia equestrian team is back in action Saturday, February 18, traveling to rival and No. 4 Auburn. The Bulldogs and Tigers will face off at 11 a.m. CT at the Auburn University Equestrian Center.

Both teams are coming off a loss to start the spring. Last week, Georgia dropped an 11-8 decision at Oklahoma State while the Tigers fell to Texas A&M, 13-5, on the road.

Georgia leads the series, 31-24, with a slight edge in meets held in Auburn at 11-10.

Auburn holds a 13-2 record in the last 15 meetings between the two schools. The two teams met in the Auburn's season opener this fall with the Tigers topping the Bulldogs, 11-8, at the UGA Equestrian Complex in October.
