First Serve
Georgia's three-match homestand continues this weekend when the Bulldogs play host to the Texas A&M Aggies Saturday and Sunday. First serve at Stegeman Coliseum is set for 2 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. Sunday.

Series History
- Georgia trails the all-time series 5-20

Georgia will hit the road for three-straight matches beginning with two matches at Auburn Oct. 8 and 9. First serve in Auburn is set for 5 p.m. both days against the Tigers. Georgia will then return to action Oct. 19 at No. 14 Florida in a midweek matchup. 
 
Let's Recap
Georgia earned its first SEC win of the season, taking down the South Carolina Gamecocks in five sets Wednesday evening at Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia tallied 24 team blocks in the match, shattering the previous program record of 20 set on Sept. 20, 2014 against Southern Miss. The Bulldogs' 24 blocks was a Division I season high. Sophie Fischer put up 15 blocks, breaking Georgia's individual record of 14 set by Desiree McCray on Sept. 13, 2014 against NC State. Offensively, Fischer added 10 kills for her first career double-double. Kacie Evans had 19 kills with 11 digs for her second-straight double-double. She added seven blocks in the match. Mackenzie Norris picked up a career-best 12 kills, narrowly missing a double-double of her own with nine blocks. Senior Meghan Froemming contributed nine blocks in the match as well. 
 
Aces Wild
Georgia has consistently had strong serving since Tom Black's arrival in Athens and 2022 has been no difference. Nationally, Georgia's 1.83 aces per set ranks 43rd while checking in at fourth in the SEC. Individually, Kacie Evans (0.41 aces/set) ranks sixth in the SEC. 
 
Evans is Killing it
Kacie Evans' 4.00 kills per set ranks 42nd in the country and fourth in the SEC. She's fourth in the conference with a 4.78 points per set average, a clip that currently ranks 28th in the country. 
 
The Great Wall of Fischer
After a 14-block performance against South Carolina, Sophie Fischer propelled herself into the top five nationally and the top of the SEC with 1.56 blocks per set. Her 70 total blocks ranks second in the league. As a team, Georgia's 2.66 blocks per set ranks fourth in the SEC. Offensively, Fischer's .333 hitting percentage is eighth in the SEC.
