Several Georgia men's tennis players were featured in the latest ITA National Rankings for singles and doubles that were also released Wednesday, April 6.

Four Bulldogs appear in the singles rankings and four pairs in the doubles rankings. Graduate transfer Stewart leads the pack with a new career-high ranking at No.11 and fellow graduate transfer Tristan McCormick rings in at No.56. Â 2020 ITA All-American senior Philip Henning takes the No.64 spot and four-time ITA All-American senior Trent Bryde rounds out the pack at No.97.

For doubles, Bryde and Henning are ranked No.14, McCormick and Stewart take the No.40-ranking, Henning and Stewart are the No.81-ranked doubles pair and senior Blake Croyder and junior Erik Grevelius combine to form the No.90 doubles pair.Â

Hardworking Hamish
Georgia's graduate transfer Hamish Stewart is coming off a week of national recognition. Stewart was named Naitonal Player of the Week by the ITA and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) on Thursday, April 7 and on Wednesday, April 6 he was awarded Co-SEC Player of the Week honors. The Glasgow, Scotland native helped Georgia earn back-to-back 4-0 SEC wins with a match clinching performance against No.38 LSU at home.Â

Georgia's No.1 singles player improved to 23-11 overall, 15-5 in the dual season, 6-3 against conference opponents and 13-7 against nationally ranked opponents. He has won seven out of his last ten matches and is on a three-match singles win streak. He has the most overall and dual competition wins on the Georgia roster. His efforts this weekend helped Georgia improve to 7-2 against SEC opponents and 15-5 overall.

Dynamic Duo
Senior Blake Croyder and junior Erik Grevelius combine to form the best doubles pair on the Georgia roster. The dynamic duo is 19-7 overall, 14-4 in dual competition and 7-1 against conference opponents, the highest marks for any Bulldog doubles pair. The No.90-ranked tandem is a constant in the doubles competition for Georgia, they're currently on a six-match win streak and have won nine out of their last ten matches.Â

The Kentucky Wildcats are represented by four singles players and one doubles team in the ITA National Rankings. Gabriel Diallo is the No.16-ranked singles player. Liam Draxl is ranked at No.30, Joshua Lapadat takes the No.84 spot and Francois Musitelli takes the No.95 ranking. Draxl and Millen Hurrion are the No.56-ranked doubles pair. The Bulldogs own a 48-10 all-time series record against the Wildcats. The last time Georgia and Kentucky faced off was on March 26, 2021 when the Bulldogs defeated the Wildcats in a 4-3 decision in Athens, Georgia.Â

The Georgia men's tennis program will finally return home for their last two matches of the regular season facing No.29 Auburn on Friday, April 15 at 5 p.m. ET and Alabama on Sunday, April 17 at 1 p.m. ET.
