ATHENS, Ga. --- University of Georgia gymnastics head coach Courtney Kupets Carter has announced the addition of Madelynn Crow to the 2022 signing class.

Madelyn Crow of Williamson, Georgia joins Sidney Fitzgerald of Evans, Georgia, Nicole King of Johns Creek, Eryn Williams of Knoxville, Tennessee, Naya Howard of Chesapeake, Virginia, Jacquelyn (Jacquie) Moran of Santa Cruz, California, and Ariel Posen of Manalapan, New Jersey as freshmen during the 2023 season.

"We are excited to see Madelynn in Stegeman next season," Kupets Carter said. "We look forward to seeing her contributions on beam and floor in front of the best fans in college gymnastics."

Crow will join the GymDogs after training at Georgia Elite and specializes in beam and floor. She won her first regional title at the age of 13. She was named the GHSAH all around, bars, and floor state champion and was the first female to win state for gymnastics at her high school after scoring a perfect 10.00 on floor at the state championship.  She also advanced to Level 10 National Championships her freshman year.

"From the moment I stepped on campus I knew it was where I wanted to be," Crow said. "The program is amazing along with every person in it. I already feel so welcomed onto the team since the second I visited."
