Georgia Seeded Fifth for NCEA National Championship

ATHENS, Ga. --- The reigning national champion Georgia equestrian team received the five-seed for the 2022 National Collegiate Equestrian Association National Championship, as announced by the NCEA Selection Committee Tuesday.
The nation's top eight teams will compete for the 2022 NCEA Championship, set to take place April 14-16 at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.
Georgia's quest to defend its national title starts Wednesday, April 14, as the Bulldogs face No. 4 TCU. Fellow Southeastern Conference opponents Auburn and Texas A&M are seeded No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
Since the first NCEA Team National Championship in 2002, Georgia leads the nation with seven national titles. Auburn is next with six, followed by South Carolina and Texas A&M with three apiece.
