The Bulldogs 
Trent Bryde, Blake Croyder, Mathis Debru, Erik Grevelius, Philip Henning, Britton Johnston, Tristan McCormick, Thomas Paulsell, Miguel Perez Peña, Hamish Stewart and Ethan Quinn make up the roster for the Georgia Bulldogs for the 2021-22 season. 
 
Georgia moved up in the rankings in both the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Team Rankings released on Wednesay, March 25. The Georgia men's tennis program was ranked No.6 in the USTA poll and took the No.7-ranking in the ITA rankings. 
 
Several Georgia men's tennis players were featured in the ITA's National Rankings for singles and doubles that were released the same day. 
 
Four Bulldogs appear in the singles rankings and three pairs in the doubles rankings. Graduate transfer Stewart leads the pack with a new career-high ranking at No.17 and fellow grad transfer Tristan McCormick rings in at No.32. 2020 ITA All-American senior Philip Henning takes the No.76 spot and four-time ITA All-American senior Trent Bryde rounds out the pack at No.104.
 
For doubles, Bryde and Henning are ranked No.26, junior Erik Grevelius and Croyder are the No.53 doubles pair and McCormick and Stewart take the No.65 ranking.
 
Tenacious Trent 
Senior Trent Bryde secured the win for Georgia thanks to a commanding third set to hand the then-No.8-ranked Georgia Bulldogs it's clinching win in a 4-2 victory over the previously ranked No.4 Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 20, 2022. Bryde controlled the end of the match in a 7-5, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2 victory of Shunsuke Mitsui. 
 
Super-Senior, Super Singles
Tristan McCormick continues to shine on the singles court. The graduate transfer extended his singles win streak to five by means of a 6-3, 6-4 win over Angel Diaz of Tennessee. He boasts the longest singles win streak for the Bulldogs and is a perfect 5-0 against SEC opponents. McCormick is 16-4 overall, 13-2 in the dual season and won seven out of his last ten matches. He has consistently appeared at No.2, No.3 and No.4 for the Bulldogs this season. 
 
THE FIELD
No.25 Texas A&M
 
The Texas A&M Aggies are represented in the ITA singles rankings by one player and the doubles by one pair. Noach Schachter is the No.56-ranked singles player, he appears in his first rankings of the season this week. Austin Abbrat and Schachter form the No.57-ranked doubles pair with an 8-9 record. The Bulldogs holds a 7-6 all-time series record against the Aggies, with Georgia winning the last matchup in Athens, Georgia, 4-2 on April 9, 2021. 
 
NEXT UP
The Georgia men's tennis program will stay on the road and travel to Oxford, Mississippi to face the No.39-ranked Ole Miss Rebels on Friday, April 1 at 4 p.m. ET. The Bulldogs will return home on Sunday, April 3 for a matchup against the No.39-ranked LSU Tigers at 1 p.m. ET.
