The Bulldogs
Trent Bryde, Blake Croyder, Mathis Debru, Erik Grevelius, Philip Henning, Britton Johnston, Tristan McCormick, Thomas Paulsell, Miguel Perez Peña, Hamish Stewart and Ethan Quinn make up the roster for the Georgia Bulldogs for the 2021-22 season.
 
Several Georgia men's tennis players were featured in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Ranking that was released Wednesday, February 9. The poll highlights the top 125 singles players and top 60 doubles teams within Division I Men's Tennis.
 
Five Bulldogs appear in the singles rankings and two pairs in the doubles rankings. Graduate transfer Stewart leads the pack and earns a career-high ranking at No.19. Four-time ITA All-American and senior Trent Bryde takes the No.23 spot, 2020 ITA All-American rings in at No.25, graduate transfer Tristan McCormick comes in at No.101 and senior Blake Croyder with a career milestone in his highest singles ranking at No.104.
 
For doubles, Henning and Stewart jump to the No.42 spot, Bryde and Henning are ranked No.50 and McCormick and Stewart reappear in the rankings at No.54.
 
 
The Field
No.9 ranked Georgia will compete against student-athletes from intrastate rival Georgia Tech. Georgia owns a 67-9 all-time series record over Georgia Tech. 
 
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are represented in the ITA Rankings by one singles player and one doubles team. Redshirt Sophomore Andres Martin sits at the No. 12 spot in the singles rankings. Martin and Marcus McDaniel are ranked No.13 for doubles. The Yellow Jackets are 3-3 overall, losing their last three consecutive matches to ranked-opponents: Virginia ( No. 7), Auburn (No. 24) and South Carolina (No. 13). 
 
ITA National Indoors
The Georgia men's tennis program is one of 16 teams to qualify for the ITA National Men's Indoor Championship in Seattle, Wash. Feb. 18-22. Six other SEC programs will join the Bulldogs in Seattle: No.2-ranked Tennessee, No.5 Florida, No.10 Kentucky, No.13 South Carolina, No. 12 Texas A&M and No. 15 Ole Miss. Every team ranked in the top ten in the country has advanced to ITA Indoors.
