Top 10
ITA released their Division I Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll on January 5 and the Georgia Bulldogs came in at No. 8. The Bulldogs are one of eight SEC teams featured in the Top 25, checking in only behind Florida (No. 1) and Tennessee (No. 4).

Fall Final
The Bulldogs competed in nine fall tournaments, hosting two at the Dan Magil Tennis Complex, the Southern Intercollegiate Tennis Championships and the Bulldog Invitational. The 54th Southern Intercollegiate Tennis Championships continued its stand in Athens as the longest-running fall tournament in collegiate tennis history. This year's Southern Intercollegiate Championships built on that outstanding history with four of the top programs in the nation taking part. Georgia, USC, Texas and Ohio State have combined to win 28 NCAA national championships and 120 conference titles. Georgia's roster features 5 returning players: senior Trent Bryde, senior Blake Croyder, junior Erik Grevelius, senior Philip Henning and senior Britton Johnston. Five freshmen and two graduate transfers have been added for the 2021-22 season: freshman Mathis Debru, graduate Tristan McCormick, freshman Thomas Paulsell, freshman Miguel Perez Pena and graduate Hamish Stewart. While top American prospect Ethan Quinn signed with the Bulldogs in the fall and will join the roster as an early enrollee for the dual season.

Dynamic Duos
Georgia had a strong showing in doubles with 25 wins throughout the fall. The pair of Philip Henning and Hamish Stewart commanded the doubles competition posting a win over the No. 1 seeded doubles team to open the 2021 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championships by downing TCU's Juan Carlos Aguilar and Sander Jong. The doubles team also knocked off Georgia Tech's No. 8-ranked Andres Martin and Marcus McDaniel to advance to the quarterfinals of the ITA All-American Championships. Blake Croyder and Erik Grevelius showed their dominance during the Clemson Invitational winning all of their matches throughout the three days of competition.

Singles Shine On
The men's tennis program put up 61 singles wins during the fall campaign. Thomas Paulsell made his mark in his first fall season by winning his first five consecutive singles matches. Blake Croyder took down No. 58-ranked Siem Woldeab from Texas to highlight the second day of action for the Bulldogs at the ITA All-American Championships. While teammate Trent Bryde defeated No.106-ranked Henry Schulenberg of Harvard in the same tournament. Mathis Debru won two singles matches back-to-back to earn a spot in the main draw of the 2021 ITA Southeast Regional.

Dawgs in the Rankings
Several Georgia men's tennis players were featured in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Ranking. The latest poll highlights the Top 125 singles players and Top 60 doubles teams within Division I Men's Tennis.

Five Bulldogs appear in the singles rankings and two pairs in the double's rankings. 2020 ITA All-American Philip Henning leads the pack with a No. 23 ranking, Hamish Stewart-a graduate transfer from Tulane- comes in at No. 32, four-time ITA All-American and senior Trent Bryde takes the No. 62 spot, senior Blake Croyder at No. 110 and freshman Thomas Paulsell with a collegiate career milestone in his first ITA ranking at No. 119. In doubles, Bryde and Henning are ranked No. 21 and Henning and Stewart are ranked at No. 47.
