SEC Unveils 2022 Softball Conference Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference has announced the conference schedule for the upcoming 2022 softball season.  
 
The 2022 season will be the first under University of Georgia head softball coach Tony Baldwin
 
The regular-season conference schedule includes eight three-game series for each team for a total of 24 games. The schedule is subject to change, including the move of some conference series to conclude on Mondays.
 
The University of Georgia will open its SEC slate March 11-13 at South Carolina. The Bulldogs' conference home opener will be March 25-27 when Georgia hosts Texas A&M at Jack Turner Softball Stadium. 
 
Georgia's other home conference series include Tennessee (April 8-10), LSU (April 22-24), and Ole Miss (May 6-8). 
 
The Bulldogs will be on the road at Alabama (April 1-3), at Missouri (April 15-17), and at Auburn (April 29-May 1). 
 
The SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 10-14 at the Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium in Gainesville, Florida. 
 
Georgia's non-conference opponents, game times, and television assignments will be announced at a later date. 
 
The 2021 season concluded with a trip to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City, the fifth WCWS appearance in Georgia softball program history.

March 25-27 – vs. Texas A&M

April 15-17 – at Missouri
