Georgia Seeded Third for NCEA National Championship

ATHENS, Ga. --- The University of Georgia equestrian team received the third seed for the 2021 National Collegiate Equestrian Association National Championship, as announced by the NCEA Selection Committee Tuesday.
The nation's top eight teams will compete for the 2021 NCEA Championship, set to take place April 15-17 at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas.
Georgia's quest for its seventh national title starts Wednesday, April 15, as the Bulldogs face No. 6 TCU. Fellow Southeastern Conference opponents Auburn and Texas A&M are seeded No. 1 and No. 5, respectively.
Since the first NCEA Team National Championship in 2002, Georgia and Auburn have won the most titles with six each. South Carolina and Texas A&M have three apiece. The 2020 NCEA Championship was not held because of COVID-19 and a regular season national champion was not named.
