SARASOTA, Fla. —- Led by top-15 individual finishes from Jenny Bae, Caterina Don and Jo Hua Hung, the No. 6-ranked Georgia women's golf team wrapped up the LTWF Heroes Intercollegiate in third place on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs carded a 4-over 292 in the final round at The Founders Club and finished the 54-hole event at even-par 864 as a team. Oklahoma State won the team title, closing with a 6-under 282 to move to 15-under, two strokes ahead of Ole Miss.

"We were in the final group today, which is exactly what we wanted when we came down here," head coach Josh Brewer said. "Unfortunately, we were never able to get enough going to put any pressure on the leaders. At the same time, we battled to the end and posted a solid team round. We're coming home a little disappointed. We feel like we could've gotten ourselves in contention today and were unable to do that.

Don led Georgia for the second straight day with a 1-under 71, while the Bulldogs also counted a 73 from Bae and a pair of 74s from Celeste Dao and Hung.

Overall, Don tied for third on the individual leaderboard at 6-under 210, nine shots back of a dominating showing from Oklahoma State's Maja Stark. In addition, Hung placed 10th at 2-under 214, Bae tied for 15th at 218, Dao tied for 39th at 225 and Caroline Craig, who shot 77 on Tuesday, tied for 52nd at 228.

Brewer believes Tuesday's round will pay dividends going forward.

"At times, we didn't make the right decisions today," Brewer said. "That's part of the learning process, especially when you're near the top of the leaderboard like we were today and every mistake is magnified. If we find ourselves in the same position in a couple of week or throughout the rest of the spring, I expect we'll perform better after learning from today."

Georgia will return to action in two weeks when the Bulldogs compete in Florida's Gator Invitational in Gainesville on Feb. 21-23.
