Georgia Baseball Campaign Underway
December 09, 2021 | Baseball
ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia Bulldog Club's 2022 Georgia Baseball Fund (GBF) campaign is underway. Fans that are renewing or interested in making new contributions in support of Georgia Baseball can visit www.georgiadogs.com/donate or contact The Georgia Bulldog Club by phone at 877-423-2947. Personalized renewal packages have been mailed to 2020 and 2021 GBF contributors. The minimum donation requirement to qualify for renewable season tickets is $50 per seat. The combined 2022 GBF donation and season ticket deadline is January 14, 2022. See the 2022 GBF brochure by clicking here.
The Bulldogs are in their ninth year under Ike Cousins Head Baseball Coach Scott Stricklin. The veteran team returns eight starting position players and six pitchers who started games in 2021. The 2022 Bulldogs have 29 returning lettermen and four players who were redshirted last season, along with 14 newcomers. Georgia's entire incoming recruiting class made it to campus and has been ranked as high as 15th nationally. With that said, there is a lot of excitement and optimism leading into the upcoming season.
All 2020 baseball season ticket holders will have the first right to renew their existing seats for the 2022 season by meeting the necessary GBF and season ticket requirements and deadlines.
The Georgia Bulldog Club is the fundraising arm of the UGA Athletic Association. Its members provide resources for student-athlete scholarships, first class facilities and the financial support necessary to operate each of UGA's 21 varsity sport programs.
