First Serve
Georgia volleyball travels to Oxford, Mississippi this week for its final road test of the season with a pair of matches against Ole Miss. The Bulldogs and Rebels will square off at 7 p.m., ET, Thursday and Friday at the Gillom Athletics Performance Center.

Series History
- Georgia leads the all-time series against Ole Miss 46-20
- In Oxford, Georgia is 18-11 all time
- The Bulldogs have won five-straight over the Rebels and two of the last three on the road
- Georgia swept the season series with a pair of five-set wins in Athens in March

A Look at What's Ahead
The Bulldogs will close the 2021 campaign with a pair of matches against LSU at Stegeman Coliseum Nov. 26 and 27. The Bulldogs and Tigers will square off at 2 p.m. both days. Seniors will be recognized prior to first serve Nov. 27. 
 
Let's Recap
Georgia has won five of its last seven matches, most recently earning the series sweep over Missouri at Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia swept the Tigers in the first set and completed the series with a four-set victory on Sunday. Junior Kacie Evans registered 4.29 kills per set and on the weekend while fellow junior Amber Stivrins added 22 kills with a .417 hitting clip. 
 
Looking to End on a High Note
Georgia enters the final stretch of the season having won five of its last seven matches, beginning with the sweep of Auburn on Oct. 22. The Bulldogs concluded the 2020-21 season similarly, winning four of its final seven matches and three of the final four. 
 
Coming Out Strong
This season, Georgia has come out of the gate strong, winning the opening set in 18-of-25 matches. The Bulldogs have taken opening sets by an average of over five points. 
 
Aces Wild
The Bulldogs have had a history of excellent serving under Tom Black and 2021 has been no exception. Georgia ranks second in the SEC with 138 total services aces this season and with 1.44 aces per set. Individually, junior Amber Stivrins leads the SEC with 40 total and ranks third with 0.43 aces per set. 
 
Blocking Steadily Improving
Georgia concluded the 2020-21 season ranked fourth in the SEC in blocking as a team, completing the campaign with 2.25 blocks per set. It was the highest finish in the category under Tom Black. SEC All-Freshman Team member Phoebe Awoleye finished top-five in the league with 1.05 blocks per set as a rookie.
 
This season, Awoleye is sixth in the SEC with 104 total blocks and seventh with 1.11 blocks per set. Georgia's 218.5 team blocks is fifth in the league.
