Nine GymDogs Earn WCGA Scholastic All-America Honors

ATHENS, Ga. --- Nine members of the University of Georgia gymnastics team received Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-America honors for the 2019-20 school year, the organization announced Tuesday.
GymDogs earning academic recognition include Alexa Al-Hameed, Sterlyn Austin, Amanda Cashman, Haley de Jong, Loulie Hattaway, Marissa Oakley, Jordyn Pederson, Alyssa Perez-Lugones, and Megan Roberts.
Al-Hameed and Roberts garnered the honors last year as well.
To earn WCGA Scholastic All-America honors, a gymnast must attain a cumulative or yearly grade point average of 3.5 or better.
