Georgia to Play Baylor in Big 12/SEC Challenge

ATHENS, Ga. — The University of Georgia Lady Bulldog basketball team will travel to Waco, Texas on Dec. 4, 2019 to play defending NCAA National Champion Baylor as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge, both conferences announced this week.
The matchup between the Lady Bulldogs and Bears will be the first game of this year's Big 12/SEC Challenge, which features 10 contests spread out over four days from Dec. 4-8.
This year's contest will be the second all-time meeting between the two programs. Baylor defeated the Lady Bulldogs, 84-72, in 2005.
Georgia enters the 2019-20 season with six of its top eight scorers back from last year's team. The Lady Bulldogs also welcome their second top-15 signing class in the last three years with a trio of highly-touted freshmen ready for their first seasons.
