Senior Caliya Robinson and redshirt-junior Taja Cole led Georgia's scoring effort with 17 points apiece. For the sixth time this season, Cole ended with double-digit assists, recording 10 on the night. Sophomore Que Morrison and junior Stephanie Paul also scored in double-digits, tallying 10 and 11, respectively. Arkansas' Chelsea Dungee led all scorers, shooting 10-of-15 from the field for 30 points. The Razorbacks shot a season-high 58.2 percent from the field.
"Give Arkansas credit, they played really well tonight," Georgia head coach Joni Taylor said. "We talked about how good they are and what we were worried about happening, happened. They made a lot of shots and they were able to score in transition and we chose to make our run really late in the game. Let's give them the credit for that. We said all along it is tough to beat a team three times in a row. It is really unfortunate our season is ending today, but I am super proud of our team for what they have done and the resiliency they have had all year long with injury and battling through things like that."
The Lady Bulldogs scored the first four points in the game, but Arkansas answered with six unanswered to take the early advantage. The Razorbacks extended the lead to 19-7, but a 6-0 run kept Georgia close. Still, Arkansas led 25-20 at the end of the first quarter. Robinson led the Lady Bulldogs with eight points in the first frame.
Behind an offensive furry from Dungee, Arkansas went ahead 38-25 with just under five minutes to go before the half. The Razorbacks finished the first half with a 60-percent mark from the field en route to a 48-35 halftime lead.
Cole ended an 8-0 Arkansas run with a 3-pointer at the buzzer to end the third quarter trailing the Razorbacks, 73-59.
With four minutes remaining in the fourth period, a 3-pointer from sophomore Gabby Connally got the Bulldogs within single digits of the Razorbacks for the first time in the second half. Georgia was unable to overcome the deficit, falling to the Razorbacks by 10.
