Bulldogs Conclude Play At ITA All-America Event

TULSA, OKLA.-----Georgia junior Vivian Wolff saw her tournament run end Friday in the round of 16 at the ITA All-America Championships.
 
Wolff, ranked 37thnationally, was eliminated by 16th-ranked Elysia Bolton (UCLA) 6-3,7-5. In the consolation round of  16, Georgia's 13th-ranked Marta Gonzalez was edged by 82nd-ranked Martina Capurro (Oklahoma) 6-3,5-7,6-4. It marked the fourth ranked opponent the Sooner junior has defeated in this event. Wolff and Gonzalez were the last remaining Bulldogs in the tournament.

Up next, Georgia will head to Tallahassee next week for the ITA Southeast Regional that will be held on the campus of Florida State starting Friday, Oct. 18. The regional doubles champions and regional singles champions and finalists qualify for the season-ending Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, slated for Nov. 6-10 in Newport Beach, California.
