Kickoff Times, TV Networks Announced For Two Additional Georgia Games

ATHENS, Ga. --- Kickoff times and television networks for Georgia's September games against Austin Peay and Middle Tennessee were announced on Thursday by the Southeastern Conference office.

The Bulldogs will open the 2018 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 1, with a 3:30 p.m. game on ESPN against Austin Peay at Sanford Stadium. This will mark Georgia's first-ever meeting against the Governors. The Bulldogs are 94-27-3 all-time in season openers, including winners of 18 of their past 21 and a perfect 2-0 under Coach Kirby Smart.

Georgia will entertain Middle Tennessee on Saturday, Sept. 15. That contest will kick off at 7:15 p.m. and will air on ESPN2. The Bulldogs won the only other meeting with the Blue Raiders, taking a 29-10 decision in Athens in 2003.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Georgia's game at South Carolina on Saturday, Sept. 8, will be televised by CBS at 3:30 p.m.
