April 29, 2026 | Football
GREENSBORO, Ga. --- Bulldog head football coach Kirby Smart was one of 26 current and former head coaches who took part in the 19th annual Southern Company Peach Bowl Challenge at Reynolds Lake Oconee Tuesday.
Despite the golf tournament being canceled after three holes due to inclement weather, the participating coaches each received $12,000 toward the charity of their choice. Smart's portion will go towards the Kirby Smart Foundation, which supports children and families who are facing adversity.
Since its creation in 2007, the event has contributed a total of $10.3 million in scholarship and charity, helping make Peach Bowl, Inc. college football's most charitable bowl organization.
