ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia men's golf team will resume the spring portion of its schedule Sunday in the 13th annual Linger Longer Invitational.
The tournament will take place Sunday through Tuesday at Reynolds Lake Oconee on the Great Waters course (par-72, 7,073 yards).
The Bulldogs will use a lineup of senior Zach Healy, sophomores Trevor Phillips and Spencer Ralston, and freshmen John Hilliard Catanzaro and Davis Thompson. Juniors Jack Larkin Jr. and David Mackey and sophomore Will Chandler will compete as individuals.
Ralston leads the Bulldogs with a scoring average of 71.04, followed by Phillips at 72.70. They are the only Bulldogs who have competed in every tournament this season.
The Bulldogs have finished as the runner-up in each of their last two events -- the Wexford Intercollegiate on Hilton Head Island and the Southern Intercollegiates in Athens.
"We feel like we're really close to where we want to be," Georgia head coach Chris Haack said. "This tournament is another chance to take that next step. We're hitting the ball well and we're playing with a lot of confidence. We're looking forward to this one."
