Bulldogs To Wrap Up Fall Schedule In Hawaii

ATHENS, Ga. --- The No. 11-ranked Georgia men's golf team will conclude the fall portion of its schedule this weekend in the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational in Hawaii.

Georgia will be in action Friday through Sunday on the Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course (par 71, 6,700 yards) in Lahaia, Maui. The Friday and Saturday shotgun starts will be at 2:30 p.m, while Sunday will begin at 1:30 p.m.

The Bulldogs will use lineup of junior Spencer Ralston, sophomores John Hilliard Catanzaro and  Davis Thompson, and freshmen Will Kahlstorf and Trent Phillips. Phillips leads the Bulldogs with a scoring average of 67.88 and is 8-for-8 with rounds in the 60s to begin his college career. Junior Trevor Phillips will participate in the event as an individual.

Joining the Bulldogs and host Hawaii will be Air Force, Boise State, California, Clemson, Connecticut, George Washington, Gonzaga, Houston, Kansas, North Florida, Oklahoma, Sacramento State, South Carolina, Southern Illinois, UCLA, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming.

The Bulldogs came in second in The Carmel Cup and the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate earlier this fall.

Following the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational, the Bulldogs will be idle until the Puerto Rico Classic in February.
