E-60 Feature on Malcolm Mitchell To Air Sunday
July 28, 2017 | Football
Sunday, 9 a.m. ESPN; 10:00 a.m. ESPN2
Rookie wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell became an instant hero to New England Patriots fans after catching six-passes during the team's dramatic Super Bowl victory. However, it is his work off the field, where Mitchell hopes to make his greatest impact. This Sunday on ESPN E:60 at 9:00 a.m. ET, Mitchell opens-up about growing-up in Valdosta, Georgia where his life was all about football, and how that all changed when, as a freshman at the University of Georgia, he realized he was reading at a junior high level. Mitchell embraced his weakness and improved his reading skills. He joined a local ladies' book club in Athens, Georgia, and even wrote his own children's book titled "The Magician's Hat". E:60 spent the off-season with Mitchell as he traveled to share his passion for reading with schools and fans. The E-60 feature will also re-air on ESPN2 Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
