Field Set For 2017 NCAA Tennis Championships

2017 Men's NCAA Bracket// 2017 Women's NCAA Bracket ATHENS, Ga. — The collegiate tennis world will flock to Athens this week as the 2017 NCAA Championships return to the Dan Magill Tennis Complex, beginning Thursday at 9 a.m. ET with the men's Round of 16.

Sixteen men's teams and 16 women's squads are en route to Georgia, where they will battle for a National Championship. Eight men's contests are scheduled for Thursday, beginning with No. 2 Virginia against SEC foe Florida as well as Baylor vs. Texas in the 9 a.m. matches. The noon contests feature No. 3 Ohio State vs. No. 14 Oklahoma and No. 6 TCU versus an Illinois squad that shocked No. 11 Oklahoma State in the second round to advance.

The afternoon and evening sessions feature a battle between two of the top tennis programs in the nation when No. 12 Georgia faces off with No. 4 USC at 4 p.m. Fellow California school UCLA will battle with Texas A&M at 4 p.m., with No. 9 North Carolina versus No. 8 California and No. 1 Wake Forest against No. 16 Stanford headlining the 7 p.m. matchups.

On Friday, the women will take the courts with a Tar Heel State battle between No. 2 North Carolina and No. 15 Duke as well as a contest between No. 7 Stanford and No. 10 Michigan at 9 a.m. The noon contests feature No. 11 Auburn against No. 6 Texas Tech and No. 3 Ohio State against No. 14 South Carolina.

No. 5 Georgia will face No. 12 Pepperdine for the second time this season when the teams collide in the 4 p.m. session. Joining the Bulldogs is another SEC school as No. 4 Vanderbilt clashes with California at 4 p.m. The nightcap will feature No. 1 Florida versus Texas A&M as well as No 8 Georgia Tech against No. 9 Oklahoma State.

The team tournaments will culminate with the two finals matches on Tuesday, May 23. The men lead things off at 1 p.m., followed by the women's national championship match at 5 p.m.

Following the team portion of the tournament, singles play will begin on Wednesday at 9 a.m., with doubles competition to start on Thursday, May 24. The bracket for those events will be announced at a later date.

All-Session Ticket Information

All-session tickets are now on sale and can be ordered by calling the UGA Athletics Ticket Office at 1-877-542-1231 or by visiting GerogiaDogs.com. All-session tickets are $100 for adults and $60 for students/youth (college age with ID or younger). An all-session ticket will allow for admittance into each match from May 18-29.

Single-Session Ticket Information

Single-session tickets go on sale Wednesday, May 17 and can be ordered by calling the UGA Athletics Ticket Office at 1-877-542-1231 or by visiting GeorgiaDogs.com. Fans can also walk up each day of the event at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex Ticket Office, which opens one hour prior to the start of the first match. Single-session tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for students/youth and $5 each for a group of 20 or more people.
