Coach's Corner: Ike Cousins Head Baseball Coach Scott Stricklin

"The kids battled all day long, it was a pitching duel for sure. Chase was really good, Tony was effectively wild. We went to Blake, our closer after the leadoff walk in the ninth, and Blake made the pitches to get them out. We played really good defense. It was a really good weekend for us. Our freshmen in Aaron (Schunk) and Cam (Shepherd) were productive at the plate, and several of our freshmen are contributing. We've played 29 games now and they're not freshmen anymore. We're starting to grow up, and they are fun to watch."
