ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia's J.J. Frazier and Yante Maten were both named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches' (NABC) All-District 21 team announced on Wednesday.

District 21 includes SEC schools and both Frazier and Maten were included on the five-player first team along with Kentucky's De'Aaron Fox and Malik Monk and South Carolina's Sindarius Thornwell. The second team featured Moses Kingsley (Arkansas), KeVaughn Allen (Florida), Sebastian Saiz (Ole Miss), Robert Hubbs III (Tennessee) and Tyler Davis (Texas A&M).

Frazier and Maten were both tabbed All-SEC in balloting of league coaches and the Associated Press and to the U.S. Basketball Writers Association's All-District IV team including players from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi. Frazier was a first-team All-SEC pick of both coaches and the AP, while Maten was a first-team honoree in balloting of coaches and a second-team selection by the AP.

Frazier and Maten comprised one of the nation's most balanced inside-outside scoring combinations. Frazier averaged a team-high 18.8 ppg, while Maten contributed 18.2 ppg.

Both players topped the 1,000-point scoring mark during the 2016-17 season. Frazier, a 5-10, 155-pound senior from Glennville, Ga., completed his career with 1,628 points, which ranks No. 7 among the Bulldogs' career scoring leaders. Maten, a 6-8, 240-pound junior from Pontiac, Mich., wrapped up the season with 1,250 points, No. 21 on UGA's career leaders ledger.
