Highlights from Saturday's action at Foley Field between Georgia and Rider.

ATHENS, Ga. --- Rider posted an 8-3 win over Georgia Saturday afternoon at Foley Field.
The Broncs (5-5) took a 5-0 lead in the first after five hits off freshman Tony Locey.
Rider added one run in the second and two more in third. In the bottom of the second, Keegan McGovern put Georgia (6-9) on the board, scoring on a sacrifice fly from Adam Sasser.
Georgia started the bottom of the fourth inning down 8-1. With one runner on base, Michael Curry hit a homerun over the left field wall to add two runs for the Bulldogs.
The series against Rider concludes Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at Foley Field. The game was previously scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

On the message to the team after the loss...
"We need more fight than what we have. They've out battled, they've out fought, and they've out played us. We need to have more fight and more pride than what we've shown the last two games."
On the amount of errors in the series...
"You're not going to win any games with that many errors. You can't make plays. Our starting pitching has been very rough. When you don't get two innings out of your starters and then behind them we're not making plays, you're not going to win any games. It was sloppy and we have to have more pride than that."
On Ryan Avidano's pitching...
"Ryan Avidano and Shaefer Shephard did a great job. They gave us five scoreless innings to end the game and gave us a chance. The only way we have a chance to win that game is if we start putting up zeros, so that was really good to see. We need Ryan Avidano. He's really good, but struggled leading up to today, so it was good to see him put up three zeros. Those two guys did their job."
