Bulldogs Slip To 10th In Mexico

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico --- The No. 5-ranked Georgia men's golf team slipped to 10th place in the Querencia Cabo Collegiate on Monday.
The Bulldogs carded a second-round 16-over 300 for a total of 13-over 581. Oklahoma State has the team lead at 16-under 552.
Senior Jaime Lopez Rivarola paced the Bulldogs on Monday with a 1-over 72. Freshman Spencer Ralston added a 2-over 73, followed by sophomore Tye Waller at 6-over 77 and sophomore Jack Larkin Jr. at 7-over 78. Senior Greyson Sigg had Georgia's non-counting score of 8-over 79.
Ralston stands 17th for the tournament at 1-under 141, seven shots in back of Texas' Steven Chervony. Lopez Rivarola is at 5-over 147, while Waller is at 6-over 148, Sigg is at 7-over 149 and Larkin is at 8-over 150.
The Querencia Cabo Collegiate will conclude on Tuesday with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. Live results can be found at Golfstat.com.
