Basketball's Seventh Day In Spain

The team took a guided tour of the beautiful Basilica de la Sagrada Familia. Next, Georgia will play its final game in Spain before returning home. Vamos Perros!

Day 7 featured some sightseeing in Barcelona. The team took a guided tour of the beautiful Basilica de la Sagrada Familia. The church is still under construction and will remain under construction for at least ten more years. Even with ten years remaining, the church's history and architecture impressed the entire group.
After the guided tour, the team bussed over to Barcelona's Olympic Stadium from the 1992 Olympic Games. The team enjoyed seeing a piece of history from the Olympics before our own Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996. The team concluded the tour by taking a team picture outside the same arena that the 1992 Dream Team played in twenty-four years ago.
The Dawgs finished up the day by walking through the city and enjoying another meal in this special country. Next, Georgia will play its final game in Spain before returning home. Vamos Perros!
