Get To Know The Lady Bulldogs: Haley Clark

ATHENS, Ga. - GeorgiaDogs.com will sit down with each Georgia Lady Bulldog basketball player leading up to the season-opener against South Carolina State on Nov. 11.
This week, we talked with Haley Clark, who looks to be an impact player for the Lady Bulldogs this season. The Orlando, Florida, native played in 29 games during the 2015-16 campaign, mostly at the point guard spot, and finished with 38 total assists - the fourth-best total on the team.
Before her time at UGA, Clark prepped at Edgewater High School and was ranked the No. 24 point guard prospect in the nation by ESPN Hoopgurlz following a successful career.
Clark is majoring in Finance at the University of Georgia.

Favorite Food:
"Pizza and Hibachi."
Nickname:
"Let's see, Coach Mosley calls me "HC" but for the most part it is just "Haley." Halle Washington and I tried to get a nickname together, but it never worked out, so it's just HC."
What is a motto or phrase that you live by?
"'Treat others how you want to be treated -- the Golden Rule. It's something I've always lived by and something I learned from my parents a long time ago."
If you could visit any place in the world:
"I would say France. I took two semesters of French, so I think it would be cool to communicate with people there and further learn their language. I also think it would be really awesome to go to the Eiffel Tower and, of course, go shopping in France."
Something Nobody Knows About You:
"I don't think anyone would guess how much I eat. I really eat a lot for my size and enjoy great food! I'm not a huge snacker, but I can eat six or seven meals a day."
Favorite Movie:
"The Cat in The Hat and The Dark Knight. Growing up, The Cat in the Hat was my favorite movie and then they put took it from the cartoon version to the in-life version and it has always been so funny. And I like The Dark Knight just because I have always really liked Batman."
If you could have dinner with anybody, who would it be?
"Beyonce, definitely Beyonce. I told you earlier I like pizza and hibachi, so maybe I could have pizza and hibachi with Beyonce?"
Perfect day away from the game of basketball:
"I would lay in bed, watch Netflix and eat pizza. I've been through Prison Break, Vampire Diaries and The Originals. Right now I'm currently watching Nikita, and actually got Shanea Armbrister hooked on it."
Your biggest inspiration:
"No doubt, I would say my mom and dad. Most of the things I do are for them because they've done a lot for me my whole life."
