Bulldogs Tied For Third In Cabo

We talked with Jaime Lopez Rivarola, Lee McCoy and Coach Haack about opening round play down in Cabo.
LOS CABOS, Mexico --- The Georgia men's golf team is tied for third place after one round of the Querencia Cabo Intercollegiate.
The Bulldogs finished Sunday's round at Querencia Golf Club with a 3-under-par 281. Georgia is currently tied with California and trails leader South Florida by a margin of seven strokes. The Querencia Cabo Intercollegiate is the second event of the spring portion of Georgia's schedule.
Lee McCoy paced the Bulldogs with a 2-under 69. He is tied for seventh place, three strokes back of Rice's Mario Carmona.
The Bulldogs also got a 1-under 70 from Greyson Sigg, who is tied for 16th place. Sepp Straka, Jaime Lopez Rivarola and Zach Healy each recorded an even-par 70 for Georgia.
The Querencia Cabo Intercollegiate will continue Monday and will conclude on Tuesday. Monday's round will begin with an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring can be found at GolfStat.com.
