UGA Student-Athletes to Volunteer at Special Olympics Prom

ATHENS, Ga. --- Twenty-three University of Georgia student-athletes will volunteer at the Special Olympics Prom to be held at Clarke Central High School on Thursday, Nov. 10 from 6-9 p.m.

This is an annual event where Special Olympics Athletes from schools across Clarke County get dressed up for a night of fun and dancing. This year's "Country"-themed prom will feature a Pie-in-the-Face fundraiser with ten UGA student- athletes participating. The Pie-in-the-face is scheduled to take place at 8 p.m.

The following athletes are set to volunteer at the event:

Reggie Carter (Football)*, John Courson (Football)*, Asianna Covington (Track & Field), Aaron Davis (Football)*, Sydney Emanuel (Softball), Mackenzie Engram (Women's Basketball), Sarah Gardner (Track & Field), Jimmy Hicks (Cross Country)*, Josh Kenway (Swimming)*, Kendall Kazor (Volleyball)*, Kelsey Killean (Soccer), Quincy Mauger (Football)*, Maeve McGuire (Softball), Hayden Merrick (Track & Field), Parker Nail (Cross Country), Alex Pallo (Soccer), Ryne Rankin (Football)*, Cate Schmiedebusch (Track & Field), Bella Skinner (Women's Golf)*, Bailey Tardy (Women's Golf)*, Mary Terry (Track & Field), Kendell Williams (Track & Field), and Kendal Williams (Track & Field).
