Georgia Moves Up To No. 3

ATHENS, Ga.- After defeating then- No. 2 Auburn on Nov. 11, the Georgia equestrian team has moved up one spot to No. 3 according to the latest NCEA rankings. Georgia currently stands 3-2 on the season, with a 1-2 record in the Southeastern Conference.

Texas A&M remains the nation's No. 1 team and Baylor has made its way to the No. 2 spot. Georgia moves up to No. 3, while Auburn fell two spots to fourth. SMU remains No. 5.  Oklahoma State ranks sixth, followed by Fresno State at No. 7 and South Carolina at No. 8. Rounding out the top-10 is TCU at No. 9 and New Mexico State at No. 10.

Georgia will conclude the fall portion of its schedule on the road this weekend.  The Bulldogs will travel to Brookings, South Dakota to face the South Dakota State Jackrabbits (1-4) on Friday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. ET, before making their way to Stillwater, Oklahoma to take on the sixth-ranked Oklahoma State Cowgirls (3-1) on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. ET.
