Why did you choose the University of Georgia?
I was born an Auburn fan, with both my parents being graduates from there. However, when it came down to it, being close to home was more important. Plus being a local, I had grown up coming to Georgia Equestrian meets and it was always a dream of mine to someday be out there riding.

What does "Commit To The G" mean to you?
To me, Commit to the G means being all in. This university is so generous to its athletes and it's an institute to be proud of. I'm proud to be a part of, therefore to me, there is no excuse but to give them your absolute all.

How does the theme of "Out Work. Out Ride. Out Last. #Everyday" motivate you?
It motivates me by reminding me that it's about the battles more than it is the war- focusing on the small steps it takes to be the best in all areas of my life instead of just the big overall picture. It tells me that it is an everyday goal not just a long-term year end goal. It reminds me that this is what I strive for every single day.

Who has had the most influence on your athletic career? Why?
Probably my parents because they constantly push me to be my best in all that I do, including athletics. They never made me feel like anything was too far for my reach, and when I would doubt myself and say "I don't think its possible", they would say "why not?". Its never an "If" with them, but always a "when".

What is your most memorable moment in sports?
Definitely trying out for the team and finding out I made it. It felt like the longest wait of my life and quickly become my biggest blessing. It was something I had always wanted and dreamed about and God for sure made it possible.

Who is your favorite athlete, past or present, any sport?
I really admire Shawn Johnson, the gymnast. I just think she really embodies what it means to be a strong athlete both in and out of the gym. Her personality and drive are something to be admired and she's not afraid to show that she is human.

What is your ride out song and why?
"One More" by Superchick. I chose this song because it talks about picking yourself up and going one more. One more ride, one more round, one more work out, just talks about keep going and push for more.

What is your favorite place on campus?
I don't necessarily have a favorite spot, but if I had to pick one it would probably be north campus.

What's your favorite restaurant in Athens?
Too many to name! Definitely La Dolce Vita, The Place, The Grill, and The Table.

What is your favorite TV show/movie?
I'm a big Gilmore Girls and Parenthood fan, with some Modern Family mixed in there.

What's your favorite song or artist?
I really like a variety. Andy Grammar, Colbie Caillat, and Thomas Rhett are probably some of my favorite artists. But I also really enjoy Creedence Clearwater Revival and the song "Trouble" by Iggy Azalea, which is loosely based on the fact that I love the video of Sean Hayes lip-syncing it.

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
I really love Italy and was fortunate enough to go last summer. I would go back in a heartbeat, but if I had to pick somewhere new, it would be Greece for sure.

If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you bring?
My horse, my fiancé, and my dog

What's something people would be surprised to know about you?
I played the saxophone in marching band.

Who or what influenced the start of your riding career?
My mom! My mom has always loved horses and had one of her own when I was born which eventually led to her owning her own crew of horses and teaching beginner riding lessons. I grew up with her coaching me and giving me "the horse bug" at an early age.
