We talked to Coach Chris Haack and Lee McCoy about how they think the team performed and the condition of the course throughout the day.

KINGSTON SPRINGS, Tenn. --- Lee McCoy won his match and Jaime Lopez Rivarola squared his as Georgia went 1-3-1 against Florida State in the match play portion of the DICK'S Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup on Sunday.

The ACC nipped the SEC 15.5-14.5 to retain the Challenge Cup. The ACC leads the series with the SEC 2-1.

McCoy disptached FSU's Hank Lebioda 2&1. The match was all square through 12 holes, but McCoy won Nos. 13 and 14 and never relinquished his lead. Lopez Rivarola lost the first four holes to Cristobal Del Solar, yet chipped away and eventually won Nos. 15, 17 and 18 to finish all square.

In Georgia's other matches, Sepp Straka fell 2&1 to Harry Ellis, Zach Healy lost to Bennett Baker 2-up, and Greyson Sigg dropped a 2-up decision to Jack Maguire.

Duke topped Kentucky 3-2, Vanderbilt beat Virginia 3-2, Tennessee dispatched Clemson 3-2, Louisville knocked off Alabama 3-2 and Florida edged Georgia Tech 2-1-2.

Georgia will return to action Sunday through Tuesday in the Nike Invitational in Oregon.
