Georgia Recognizes Former Military Serving Bulldogs

The University of Georgia Athletic Association wishes to extend its sincerest thanks to all veterans who have served our country.
As we look toward the annual observance of Memorial Day, The University of Georgia Athletic Association wishes to extend its sincerest thanks to all veterans who have served our country. Special appreciation goes to former Georgia Bulldog letterwinners who wore the red and black and served the United States in all branches of military service.
Hundreds of Georgia Bulldogs from many varsity sports have been active in our armed forces and many have given their lives in service to our country.
Following is a list of many of those who have military duty on their resumes. The Athletic Association is continuing to expand this list and request additions be submitted to the Georgia Bulldog Club (gclub@sports.uga.edu). Please include name, sport, branch of service, exact years of active duty (ex: 1965-68), and rank at time of discharge.
The Athletic Association will continue to honor our veterans at future times including the annual Military Appreciation Day scheduled for the Georgia-Kentucky football game this fall (Nov. 7).
