As we observe Veteran's Day, The University of Georgia Athletic Association wishes to extend its sincerest thanks to all veterans who have served our country. Special appreciation goes to former Georgia Bulldog letter winners who wore the red and black and served the United States in all branches of military service.
Hundreds of Georgia Bulldogs from many varsity sports have been active in our armed forces and many have given their lives in service to our country.
In addition, we would like to thank the over 200 student veterans on the campus of the University of Georgia.
Following is a list of many of the letter winners who have military duty on their resumes. The Athletic Association is continuing to expand this list and request additions be submitted to the Georgia Bulldog Club (gclub@sports.uga.edu). Please include name, sport, branch of service, exact years of active duty (ex: 1965-68), and rank at time of discharge.
