ALL-TIME SERIES VS. SOUTH CAROLINA
Georgia holds the series advantage over South Carolina 46-19. The Bulldogs dropped last season's meeting against the Gamecocks 3-1 in Athens, as three players, including returners Jasmine Eatmon and Amanda Dachs, had double-digit kills. Eatmon finished with a team-best 15 while Dachs had 11. Kendall Kazor had 27 assists in the match while Desiree McCray notched eight blocks.

Georgia has won six of the last nine against South Carolina, as last season's USC win snapped a two-game win streak over the Gamecocks. The Bulldogs won both meetings in 2013 while winning four straight from 2009-11.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. MISSOURI
Georgia leads Missouri by a slim 4-3 margin after winning the last two against the Tigers. The Bulldogs won 3-1 and 3-2 last year, as Dachs, McCray and Megan Spencer totaled 19 kills each in those two games. McCray combined for 11 blocks in the contests while Spencer dropped 14 kills on a .579 hitting mark, just shy of a career best, in the win in Athens. The 3-2 victory in Columbia saw the team hit .300 with 18 total blocks. For her career, Eatmon has 39 kills and 15 blocks against Missouri after recording nine blocks in 2014 versus the Tigers.

Since Missouri joined the league for the 2012 season, the series stands at 3-2. Prior to that, the teams last met in 1986 with a Georgia sweep and 1984 with a Tiger 3-0 win.

DEFENSE LEADS BULLDOGS AT OLE MISS
Statistically the Bulldog defense stood its ground against Ole Miss behind the play of sophomore Cassidy Anderson's 16 digs. It's the 11th double-digit dig game this season for Anderson and 14th of her career. Georgia led the digs battle 42-39 over Ole Miss as well, marking the fifth time this year the Bulldogs led their opponent in the category. Georgia outblocked the Rebels 8-6 with McCray and Eatmon collecting four blocks each. McCray has led or tied as the team leader in blocks 11 times this year while Eatmon holds four.

ANDERSON SERVING IT UP
With two aces against the Rebels, Anderson continues to lead the team with 20 service aces this season, topping her 2014 total by one. She has posted two or more aces in seven matches while Anderson is third in the league with 0.36 per set. The Louisville, Ky., native now has 39 aces in her career and is five digs away from 300 career digs.

MCCRAY WITH THE STOPS
Last season's team leader in blocks, McCray is picking up where she left off, tying for the team lead at Ole Miss while leading the team with five blocks at Mississippi State. Against the Starkville Bulldogs, it marked the fifth time this year that McCray had five or more blocks while it was the 19th time in her career.

CHALLENGING SCHEUDLE FOR GEORGIA
The NCAA released its second RPI of the season, as 16 of Georgia's opponents remain ranked in the top 150. The Bulldogs have faced nine of those, including six in the top 100. Of the remaining schedule, nine opponents are in the top 110, including three rematches against Tennessee (81), Ole Miss (95) and Mississippi State (109). Missouri comes into the weekend at No. 12.

NEW FACES SEEING PLAYING TIME
Georgia welcomes seven newcomers to the roster, each of whom has the ability to have an immediate impact on the roster. The class consists of a setter, two outside hitters, two defensive specialists and two middle blockers. The seven freshmen is one of the most in the SEC, as South Carolina has seven true freshmen and a redshirt freshman on its roster.

Of Georgia's freshmen, Caroline Ostman has seen the most sets played at 44, as she has 66 digs while recording her first service ace at Ole Miss. Sarah Lagler-Clark has come in lately at the setter position, notching 20 assists versus the Rebels to have 80 on the year in 15 sets of action.
