Bulldogs In Fourth At Collegiate Challenge Cup

KINGSTON SPRINGS, Tenn. --- The No. 5-ranked Georgia men's golf team stands fourth after two rounds of the DICK'S Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup at the Golf Club of Tennessee.
On Friday, the Bulldogs fired rounds of 8-over 292 and 4-under 280 for a total of 4-over 572. Georgia is 10 shots off the pace set by Georgia Tech.
Junior Lee McCoy stands second individually at 6-under 136 with loops of 4-under 67 and 2-under 69. He is two strokes in back of Vanderbilt's Carson Jacobs.
Sophomore Greyson Sigg and freshman Zach Healy are at 3-over 145. Sigg signed for a 4-over 75 and a 1-under 70, while Healy had a 5-over 76 and a 2-under 69. Senior Nicholas Reach (4-over 75, 1-over 72) wound up at 5-over 147, followed by senior Mookie DeMoss (4-over 75, 2-over 73) at 6-over 148.
The team and individual champions will be crowned following Saturday's third round. On Sunday, the SEC and ACC teams will compete in a match play tournament for conference honors.
