Georgia Stands Sixth In Hawaii Tournament

LAHAINA, MAUI, Hawaii — The Georgia men's golf team stands sixth after one round of the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational.
On Friday at the Royal Ka'anapali Course (par-71, 6,700 yards), the Bulldogs fired a 9-under 275. Georgia is 21 shots behind Oregon at 30-under 254 and six in back of second-place North Florida's 15-under 269.
Junior Lee McCoy led the Bulldogs with a 5-under 66. He is in eighth, four shots off the pace set by Oregon's Brandon McIver (62).
Sophomore Greyson Sigg signed for a 3-under 68 to stand 15th, while senior Nicholas Reach added a 2-under 69 and freshman Zach Healy posted a 1-over 72. Sophomore Jaime Lopez Rivarola had the Bulldogs' non-counting score of 3-over 74.
The Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational will continue on Saturday and will conclude on Sunday. Live results and tee times can be found here.
