Georgia Golfers Slip To 13th In Tavistock Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Georgia men's golf team slipped to 13th on Monday in the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational.
On Monday at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club, the Bulldogs fired an 8-over 296 in the second round. That gives the Bulldogs, who were ninth on Sunday, a two-day total of 7-over 583. Vanderbilt has the team lead at 26-under 550.
Senior Mookie DeMoss paced the Bulldogs on Monday with a 1-under 71. Junior Sepp Straka added a 1-over 73, followed by sophomore Greyson Sigg at 2-over 74, and senior Sam Straka and freshman Zach Healy each at 6-over 78.
Sepp Straka leads Georgia at 2-under 142, nine shots in back of Vanderbilt's Carson Jacobs. Sigg, Healy and DeMoss are all at 3-over 147, and Sam Straka stands at 11-over 155.
The final round of the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational will be held on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will tee off between 9:15 and 9:55 a.m. with their counterparts from Indiana and Arkansas. Live results can be found at GolfStat.com.
