Reid, Great Britain Look For Win Against Algeria

LONDON - Former University of Georgia volleyball player Elizabeth Reid will try and help Team Great Britain rebound from an opening round loss to Russia when it takes on Algeria at 5 p.m., on Monday in the 2012 Olympics being held in London.

The Russian team defeated Great Britain 3-0 in the opening round of the 2012 London Olympics. The 2012 Olympics mark the first time that Great Britain has fielded a volleyball team.

Reid, who played the final two points of set two but did not record any statistics, will look to see more action on the court in the match against Algeria. The Algerian team is coming off a 3-0 loss to Japan in the opening round.
