California remained as the No. 1 ranking in the USA Today/NFCA poll with Alabama behind at the second spot. Florida takes the third slot followed by Arizona St. at No. 4 and Texas at No. 5.

Senior Erin Arevalo earned the win after going her longest outing of the season. The California native gave up seven hits while striking out nine on her way to improving her season mark to 15-3.
Seniors Brittney Hubbard and Ashley Pauly did well in game two against the Lady Vols. Hubbard earned a RBI off her sacrifice fly to right field to score Sandberg while Pauly posted two hits on the night.
The Bulldogs return to action in Athens tonight against USC Upstate at 6:30 p.m. before hosting a midweek doubleheader versus South Carolina on Wednesday, April 11 starting at 5 p.m. Georgia then travels to Lexington for a three-game series against Kentucky this weekend.
