ATHENS, Ga. - Following each Sunday match this year, the Georgia volleyball program will offer a FREE, one-hour, volleyball clinic called Spike's Tykes.

The first-annual Spike's Tykes Fall Clinic Series will offer players in fourth through eighth grades a chance to practice and learn techniques used by the Georgia Bulldogs in a station type format. Following each Sunday match, there will be different members of the Bulldogs assisting with the clinic.

The first Spike's Tykes will be held following this Sunday's match against Alabama. Other Spike's Tykes events will be held following Sunday matches against Florida on Oct. 2, Tennessee on Oct. 23 and LSU on Nov. 6. Each Sunday match is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Spike's Tykes is open to both girls and boys in fourth through eighth grade. To register and for more information, please contact UGA volleyball assistant coach Brook Coulter at bcoulter@sports.uga.edu.

All participants much provided a signed medical/liability release for participation in the clinics. That form along with the registration form can be found in the PDF file included at the top of this release. Completed forms can be emailed to Coach Coulter or sent via fax to 706-583-0706. Advance registration is not required as players can still sign up the day of the event.
