"Desiree is a naturally physical athlete that will be a force at the net both offensively and defensively," Georgia head coach Lizzy Stemke said. Spencer ranked in Prepvolleyball.com's 2012 Top 150 Senior Aces and helped the Saints to Kansas State Runner-Up finishes in 2008, 2009 and 2010. "Megan has a fire, a passion, and a determination to reach big goals as a student-athlete here at Georgia," Stemke said. "Megan will bring us fast offense at the pin and a fight that will be contagious for all as we continue to build upon our program every year."
