ATHENS, Ga. - The University of Georgia softball program and head coach Lu Harris-Champer have signed seven student-athletes to National Letters of Intent to play with the Bulldogs beginning in 2012-13.
UGA softball will announce the seven-member signing class one-by-one here on www.georgiadogs.com, on Facebook and on Twitter. Each day over the next week Georgia fans will be able to check back for information on the newest Bulldogs.
"We believe this class is the top recruiting class in the country," Harris-Champer exclaimed. "It has tremendous offensive players with not only the ability to hit for average but tremendous power as well. Along with offensive potential, the 2012 class has two of the top catchers in the country, two of the top pitchers in the country, a great defensive infielder and two great outfielders. We are thrilled with this group of student-athletes and confident about what they will bring to the University of Georgia!"
Each of the seven signing announcements will be available on www.georgiadogs.com, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/UGAsoftball and on Twitter @UGAsoftball starting on Thursday, Nov. 17.
