ATHENS ---- The NCAA Eligibility Center has determined that University of Georgia basketball signee Cady Lalanne did not meet initial-eligibility requirements and therefore, will not be allowed to enroll at UGA this year and play for the Bulldogs, according to an announcement Friday by head coach Mark Fox.

Lalanne, a 6-8 forward, is a graduate of Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, Fla. He was the first of four prospects to sign with the Bulldogs in 2009-10.

"I am extremely disappointed for Cady," Fox said. "I truly feel for him because he is a great young man. We will move forward in preparation for the coming season without him."
